our youth group needs to raise money for a national church conference out of state. We have about 4 months to raise the money. What fundraisers work, but don’t cost a lot of money to do?

Fundraising Feedback: Car washes are the best. But you might want to do that more towards the end since it’s so cold now. Also for my youth group, we did things like marathons with sponsors who would give a certain amount of money per hour for a chosen person, but instead of running, it would be walking, or rocking chairs. Something silly, but if it’s for a good cause and you get the broadcast out. you will find alot of people willing to sponsor. Also yard and bake sales can go a long way.
Fundraising Feedback: you could get members of the curch to sponsor a member or preist to shave their heads or sponsor them per meter run in a race. bake sale is good, also try holding video nights (find out who has dvd’s and arrange a hall, charge $3 entry and play the movie on a big screen and provide light refreshemnts)
Fundraising Feedback: Worker Auctions are a good way to raise money and get everyone enthused about the cause as well as they are all contributing
Fundraising Feedback: has done a lot of youth group fundraisers, you get a free website and they put stuff all about your youth group on it, pictures, details, and what you need the money for, then on the page they put a straight donation and programs that people can buy, the programs give about a 40% commission. The best part is, is that it is freeeeeeeee. And everyone loves free things lol hope this helps.
